The Form editing experience has also been completely redesigned, with a fully drag-and-drop interface that makes it easy to see exactly what you're creating at all times. You now have more control over the appearance of your Forms, with options for multi-column and multi-tab layouts, label positions, custom buttons, and a more refined set of field types.

Many common tasks that used to require scripting, such as hiding or showing fields, can now be accomplished simply by selecting a few plain English options within the Form editor.

Scripting For Power Users
For power users, we still offer the ability to use JavaScript scripting and access to our full REST API to further customize the content and behavior behaviour of your Forms. However, we believe that even power users will find that the new tools we've provided will reduce their need to resort to scripting by 90%.

In addition to the ability to create reports, you can now do even more with the data within AgileCase. We're working on integrations that allow you to automatically export report data from AgileCase to other popular cloud services. By using our integration with Zapier, you can open up the potential to integrate with any of the 5,000 cloud services supported by that platform. This opens up a world of possibilities for working with your data in new and innovative ways, and we can't wait to see all of the creative uses that our users come up with.
5 - Templates
...
Templates now use our own syntax “AgileCase Template Syntax”. It supports many more things the Microsoft Word’s Mergefield syntax and can be typed simply into any document with needing to use complex Word-specific features.
Template are now used for more than just Documents and Emails and can now be used to build custom modules for output anywhere on your case. For example in v1 you would need to use Scripting and our Case Data API to output some “Traffic Lights” style module at the top of your Case - highlighting key information to your users. This can now be done simply by building it using Template syntax which dramatically lowers the skill-level, time and risk required to create a custom module.

7 - Automations - 'If This Then Than' style Triggers and Actions
Implementation of many things which previously required scripting and a lot of thought are now simplified into "Automations" which presents a simple UI where you can select a Trigger, Condition and Actions to perform. The simplification speeds up changes and simplifies maintenance - no more having to map everything back and forth between obscure ID numbers .. everything in v2 is based on the Field Names.
8 - AgileChat using AI Templates
You can create “AI Templates” in a similar way to how you create Document Templates. These templates function as the data and rules for a Chat-based interface to your cases using OpenAI/ChatGPT.
AI Templates allow you to decide which data and other rules you wish to set on a Chat like interface which allows your users or customers to access their data using a conversational interface.
