    What's new in AgileCase 2.02?

Hey AgileCase users, we've got some exciting news for you! Our latest enhancements are all about making two critical parts of your experience better. We’ve made document editing smoother and faster, and also added powerful ‘Conditional Logic’ feature to Forms.

Here is a list of all the changes made in this release:

🚀 Edit your Documents with AgileCase new Office Online integrations BETA New

This new feature greatly improves the experience of viewing and editing Office Docs within Agilecase.

🔹 Seamless Editing of Microsoft Files: You can now directly edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files right within AgileCase, thanks to our new integration with Office Online.

🔹 No More Downloads: Forget the days of downloading a file just to view or edit. And, say goodbye to the hassle of remembering to re-upload your edited files.

🔹 How to Edit Documents within Work Items:

Ready to tweak or view? Click the "Edit In Office Online" button right beside the Document icon. No need for the traditional Download link anymore.

    Visual Guide:

All your modifications are instantly saved as new document versions in AgileCase. We've got a neat audit log capturing date, time, and the user behind each edit. Edits stick around - whether you leave the doc idle or close out of the Office Online tab.

    🔹 What About Templates?:

Absolutely! Office Online integration also allows you to edit your Document Templates. In the "Edit Template" screen, there's a shiny “Edit with Office Online” button, positioned right next to the classic download/upload buttons.

Create dynamic Forms with 'Form Logic' BETA New

Introducing our brand-new 'Form Logic' feature, crafted to bring agility to your forms. With this addition, you can now effortlessly:

    • Hide/Show: Tailor your forms' fields visibility based on responses.

    • Enable/Disable: Gain control over specific fields, sections, buttons, or tabs based on user input.

Ever found yourself lost in sprawling forms? Enter Form Logic. We've tweaked it so your users zoom straight to what matters, no extra fluff. Plus, by sidelining sections that don’t apply, we’re cutting down on any "oops" moments with misplaced info. Cleaner forms, happier users.

    How It Works:

Navigate to our intuitive logic builder UI, and define conditions ranging from the simplest to the most intricate. They act as the triggers, determining the dynamics of your form.

Head over to [Settings → Edit Form → Form Designer → Edit Field (Cog Icon)]. The Conditional Logic options are right there, waiting to be explored.

    Unlock Potential with Form Logic:

Here's an idea starter for leveraging this feature:

    1. Targeted Information Gathering: Start with a straightforward Yes/No question, and based on that, unveil subsequent queries.

    2. Hide/Show Tabs and Sections: If a user indicates they’re a beginner, perhaps show a 'Basics' tab. For experts, unveil a 'Advanced' tab instead.

    3. Conditional User Info: Only request business details if a user selects "I represent a business" from a dropdown.

    4. Feedback Elegance: If a user rates your service 5 stars, show them an optional testimonial box. For lower ratings, prompt an optional feedback box to understand how to improve.

    5. Progressive Disclosure: For a multi-step form, only show step 2 after step 1 criteria are met, keeping the form less intimidating initially.

    6. Showing Help Text: You can created an HTML Content field with some in-depth notes on how to complete some elements of a form but only show that Help when it is relevant based on previous answers.

Feel free to innovate and incorporate this functionality into your forms for an enhanced user experience!

    Tabbed Forms IMPROVEMENT

Handling intricate forms? Make it breezy with our new ‘Tabs’ block. Now, you can segment those hefty forms into more compact separated pages right from the Form Designer.

And hey, for all our navigators out there: once you’re wrapping up a tab, handy buttons will nudge you to the next (or let you skip back). Neat, right?

The cherry on top? These tabs are best buds with our ‘Form Logic’ feature. Set conditions, and voilà – unveil or tuck away tabs as needed. Forms just got a whole lot cooler. 🎉

Minor Improvements and Bug Fixes minor

    • fixed- Disabling Email Signature for a user does not stop “Sent by AgileCase” being appended to outgoing emails.

    • Improved - Form Editing. PropertyName is now ‘locked’ after initial creation to avoid users accidently changing a property name which may be used in Document Templates or Reports Logic. Users can choose to unlock it if they wish.

    • Improved - Document Templates supports Custom Fields and Custom Forms. We have added a new {{forms.formsname.fieldname}} token type so that data gather in Shared Forms can be used directly within templates. Previously only Forms used as Custom Field tabs within a Work Type could be output in templates. This is an interim step to removing the distinction between Custom Fields and Custom Forms in a future release.

    What's Next?

More major features are coming in the next few weeks through regular updates:

    Scheduled Automations via Agile Assistant

Link up a Report with an Automation to Send Emails, Print Documents, Update Fields in bulk either on-demand or based on a repeating schedule.

This feature just missed the cut for last weeks general release but will be rolling out to Early Adopters in the coming weeks.

Templates - Import One Template Into Another

If you have common elements in your documents such Headers/Footers/Letterheading etc. then this feature is for you. The new {{$import(TemplateName)}} field token will allow you to have common elements stored in just a single Template and then reused. That means if you need to update a part of your letterhead you will only have to do it once and then it will be rolled out

    AI Templates powering AgileAI Chat

Configure Templates which describe to our AI what information you wish to share about a specific Case/Contact and then expose a Chat-like interface to your users or customer via a secure link.
