What's new in AgileCase 2.03?

Hey AgileCase users, we have some new improvements which have went live in the last month. Most notably File and Template versioning UIs have been improved to make it easier to restore past versions and also Multi-Factor Authentication has been enabled on all accounts to improve security.

Here is a list of all the changes made in this release:

Multi-Factor Authentication New

Multi-factor authentication settings are now available to all users starting with “Authenticator App” support.

Users can now enabled Multi-Factor Authentication on their own accounts within User settings and Administrators can force the setting for any user from without Admin settings.

Visual Guide:

When a Administrator sets a user without Multi-factor authentication to user it then the user will be prompted to configure their chosen method on next login.

Right now we support only Authenticator app based authentication but support for Text and Email based methods will be coming soon.

We recommend users use the Authenticator Apps from either Microsoft or Google:

File and Template Versioning - Easy Restoring New

Versions of files and template have already been tracked within AgileCase v2 but now you have an improved UI for choosing which versions of your files to restore and can restore within with a single click.

Templates - Import One Template Into Another New

If you have common elements in your documents such Headers/Footers/Letterheading etc. then this feature is for you. The new {{$import(TemplateName)}} field token allows you to have common elements stored in just a single Template and then reused. That means if you need to update a part of your letterhead you will only have to do it once. You can read about how to use this feature in the Template Syntax documentation:

Minor Improvements and Bug Fixes minor

  • fixed- Multiple improvements to Forms hiding and showing logic to make it more user friendly and ensure some complex use cases with nested conditions work as intended.

  • Improved - Templates Screen - Filter by Work Type. Template screen now includes a Work Type filter to make it easier to locate your templates based on Work Type.

  • Improved - Document Templates - Empty Line and Bullet List formatting improvement. If a line only includes a token and that token returns no value then the line will be omitted when rendered. This gives you more control when listing as redundant lines will not longer be output if the a list item has no value.

What's Next?

More major features are coming in the next few months through regular updates:

Scheduled Automations via Agile Assistant

Link up a Report with an Automation to Send Emails, Print Documents, Update Fields in bulk either on-demand or based on a repeating schedule.

We have been taking into account feedback from our BETA testing group and the feature should launch to all users soon.

AI Templates powering AgileAI Chat

Configure Templates which describe to our AI what information you wish to share about a specific Case/Contact and then expose a Chat-like interface to your users or customer via a secure link.
