15.3 Client Side Experience


This lesson will show you the client experience when using client connect. To find out how to invite and disable client access, view our lesson in the administration chapter here.

Confirmation email



The client will recieve a confirmation email that looks like this. When they click the link they will accept the invite and be taken to the sign up page.

Client registration

 

On the sign up page the client must decide on a password and enter the captcha code to confirm their identity.

After they are done, clicking "Register" will create their account.

Client view

 

The client will now be able to view their own client page and any notes, tasks, communications or documents that are set to be visible to the public. They can also access any cases that they are client of, provided you have enabled them for client connect.

Client case view

 

Once a case has been enabled for client connect, the client can view a restricted case page with only public tabs available for viewing.

Uploading documents

 

It is also possible for a client to upload documents to a case using client connect. To do so simply click the "New" button to activate the dropdown menu then select "Upload File".

This will allow the client to select and upload a file to your case from their own system.
