This lesson will show you how to add a company email address in SaasCase.

Access company email settings

 

Adding a company email address allows you to send emails from cases and email batches in SaasCase.

This functionality can save a lot of time when it comes to managing your business processes. In order to begin, first navigate to the "E-Mail Settings" page by clicking the button under "My Company" on the settings menu.

Add a new email account

 

To proceed, click "Add Email" to enter the details of the address you want to use.This page will also list all of the company emails you have added to the system for reference and editing purposes.

Enter email details

 

You can now enter the details of your email address. the username should be the same as the email address and the password should match that of your email account.

In this example we are using a Gmail account so the sever name will be "smtp.gmail.com"and the port will be "25" which is a universal port for gmail." Enable SSL" should also be checked. It is important that you ensure that POP and IMAP are enabled in the Gmail account you are using.

The "Default" checkbox will set this email as your default company address and will be autofilled any time one is required. Once you have applied these settings, click "Save Email" to link the accounts.

Send a test message

 

After clicking "Save Email" you will be prompted to send a test message in order to confirm the system in working. Simply enter an email address that you have access to and click "OK".

This will send a confirmation message from your selected email via the system which should be received shortly on the email address you entered.

Email added

 

You will now see the email address listed on the company email settings page. This email can now be accessed when sending an email from a case or creating an email batch, which you can read more about here.
