This lesson will show you how to use help text in SaasCase to aid your users in using custom fields.
Entering help text
When creating a custom field of any type you will notice the option to input help text, this can be accessed by the user if they are having trouble understanding or using the field. You can enter a short piece of text directly or add a hyperlink to external documentation using the format: <a href="insert URL here" target="_blank"> hyperlink text here</a>.
Viewing help text
Once you have created and saved help text, it will be visible to users when they click the small "i" button next to the field.
