Username fields take on a different functionality when used in a custom field table. This lesson will explain the difference.
Username field in a custom field table
When creating a custom field table, username fields are generated in exactly the same way as usual but function slightly differently in the table itself. The column in the screenshot shows a username field in a custom field table.
The user stamp is now automated so the name of the user that makes the entry is listed without having to click a button.
