5.18 Editing Tab Visibility


This lesson will show you how to edit the visibility of tabs in a chosen case type.

Access tab visibility

 

AgileCase allows you to toggle the availability of tabs in each of your case types in order to remove any unnecessary information from the system. In order to do this, select "Tab Visibility" under "Case Type Settings" on the settings menu.

Add a case type

 

on the tab visibility page, you must first add a case type before you can edit the tabs within it. To do so, click "Add Case Type".

In the following window, select the case type that you wish to edit then click "Create" to proceed.

In order to edit the visibility of tabs in the selected case type, use the dropdown menu and select "Edit".

Enable and disable tabs

 

You can now set the tabs you want to be visible as "Enabled" and those you don't wish to see as "Disabled". After you have done this, click "Update" to proceed.

You will now see that enabled tabs are ticked while disabled tabs are crossed in the display beside the case type.

You can now see that the disabled tab no longer appear on the case toolbar.
